The February Speaker Series: Gold Access Event included a riveting panel discussion featuring senior BMO leaders who shared their knowledge and insights about the evening’s theme: Going Beyond the Traditional Bank and the importance of diversity. It was a sold out event that provided an opportunity to network with senior black leadership representing BMO.

Black History Meets Tech

The Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals joined the Black Professionals in Technology Network to showcase the impact of the black tech community in Toronto. Held at the Mars Discovery District over 400 black professionals came together to network and learn from technology leaders. CAUFP President Meryl Afrika was one of the key speakers.

City of Toronto – Black History Month

February 8, 2019

The Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals board members joined Mayor John Tory and Councillor Thompson for the Black History Month reception at Toronto City Hall. The evening recognized the contributions of members of Toronto’s black community and organizations that have provided years of service. Notable attendees included, MP Mitzie Hunter, MP Michael Coteau, Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders, Pinball Clemons, and Nadine Spencer, President/CEO of the BBPA.
