Speakers Series

CAUFP holds a monthly Speaker Series where we host high-profile keynote speakers from across all industries. The keynote addresses are followed by a professional networking session where members and guests can interact, make connections and advance their professional agendas.

These events are usually held on the last Thursday of each month except in August and December.

Check out our events calendar for details on the next Speaker Series event.

Youth Engagement

Our youth engagement initiatives are centered on creating and sustaining a pipeline of future Black talent. Our marquee event, the Annual Youth Summit, is structured in order to achieve this goal.

Over the last 5 years, the Youth Summit has grown significantly and now attracts over 100 students from across the country eager to learn about what its like to work on Bay Street. Students are also exposed to the career options that are available, and network with industry professionals looking to recruit diverse talent.

Students who attended the Youth Summit have been awarded scholarships and landed internships at partner organizations including TD, RBC, and KPMG.

  • Create informed consumers of financial products and services
  • Increase participation in the capital markets
  • Empower and set participants on a path to financial independence
