Advance & Achieve

CAUFP is committed to inspiring and developing today’s leaders. As such, we host professional development workshops and seminars to equip our members with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate career changes.

We deliver personal leadership workshops, which enable attendees to build their own strong personal brands, identify their core values, and create their own strong set of authentic stories to pass interviews. We also deliver intensive professional development workshops focused on entrepreneurship and developing an entrepreneurial mindset, and disruptive technologies.

Throughout our careers we can easily overlook the critical skills and competencies required to successfully progress to the next level as leaders. As a response to this, CAUFP, in partnership with Matrix360, has developed and delivers a progressive experiential, educational and impactful program that guides professionals to positive behavioural change inevitably leading to enhanced leadership skills and opportunities.

We know that 80% of learning takes place between mentors and mentees, and that 75% of private sector executives agree that mentoring was critical in their own career development.

As a response to this, we have collaborated with our education partner, Matrix360, to deliver the ELEVATE Mentorship program, an exclusive mentorship process to facilitate the connection of like-minded professionals that is built on collaboration and the commitment to the professional development of all participants.

CAUFP has partnered with Matrix360 to deliver an exclusive Leadership Series that showcases the personal journeys of inspiring and notable leaders in an interactive and intimate setting. This is not your average fireside chat as we go much deeper to understand the lived experiences and diverse perspectives of our esteemed speakers while facilitating real conversations about personal leadership. Held every quarter, this series focuses on how leaders can inspire collaboration, trust, and positive movement in the individuals they lead as well as exploring how we can purposefully navigate through our careers on the path to success. It is designed for participants to walk away with practical tools and strategies to further enhance their lives and careers and is delivered from a meaningful and insightful perspective.

The CAUFP Executive Dining Series is a set of dinner events designed to facilitate intimate conversations with CAUFP members and industry executives on a variety of topics in a private setting. An invite-only and member-exclusive series, the dinners feature a 3-course meal and wine in the company of just 8-10 CAUFP members. Join CAUFP to take partake in this unique experience.

The Leadership Breakfast Series targets mid-senior level professionals who are looking to gain more direct access to c-suite executives to better understand what it takes to advance to the next level of their career.

This is a member-exclusive and invite-only series where CAUFP members will participate in a breakfast conversation with a few well connected, c-suite leaders of prominent companies operating across Canada and even globally. Participants get the opportunity to gain the ear of these industry leaders and, as a result, create more exposure to themselves as top talent.
